Artist for a day!

And I'm back!! So after (well okay, kind of during!) my first blog post I decided that I definitely wanted make another post! I really enjoyed being able to write about things that I do and that interest me! Again I'm still new to this blogging world so I'm learning with each post I make! (But maybe there isn't much to learn, who knows!)  I definitely think "blogging newbie" was a perfect name for my blog!

Some expectations for my post and future posts are to share my stories, interests, hobbies and much more! Being able to share what I've done, have done or may do can give people an insight to who I am! Maybe through sharing my experiences, likes, dislikes people will be able to relate, or find out something new!

I mentioned in my last post that I took up crocheting! I was able to pick it up fast which was great but boy is it a process! I am currently making a blanket and right now I feel like it's going to take me an eternity to finish it! I'm making a nice big blanket, one that you can cozy up with and enjoy nice cup of hot chocolate! Well right now it looks like a wide scarf (only like 8 inches wide!) I've been working on it for like 3-4 months! I knew that a blanket would take longer but at this rate who knows when I'll be done?!?

I am really into arts and crafts! Every since I was little I've like to do anything that involves arts and crafts! When I was little I use to draw or color everything in sight (and I do mean everything...I hate to say it but I once drew a picture of who knows what on one of the doors in my house! Needless to say I was in trouble! Haha!)

A year ago I made my sister and I each a tutu to wear on St. Patrick's day so we could be all festive! I bought ribbon, and 3 different color tulle! You didn't need many things but a ruler and scissors came in handy! It was a very easy process, relatively cheap and not to mention super cute! You can make a tutu for any occasion and I'm sure everyone would love it!

Just recently I made a St.Patricks day wreath for my aunt! You might have heard of the new thing where people are making burlap wreaths well I did just that but instead used mesh! It was soooo fun to make! I got myself a hot glue gun and added some decorations to spruces it up and I love it! (Side note- I've never realized how fun it is to use a hot glue gun! The kid in me wished I  could start glueing everything together, but I controlled myself!!) I have to say I am extremely proud of the outcome! I'm already looking forward to the next wreath I can make someone!!

Arts and crafts are such a great pass time! I feel everyone should try a new craft or project no matter how young or old they are! You don't have to be artistic to start a project or make something! Your creativity will shine through even when you don't think it will! Be proud of what you do even if it doesn't look quite how you wanted it to! Each project is a time for you to learn, and grow!

Until next time!!
